Bab Uhud, located in the northern wall of Masjid an-Nabawi, is named after the Valley of Uhud, the site of the Battle of Uhud in 625 CE between early Muslims and Qurayshi Meccans. As one of the smaller gates of the mosque, it typically remains clear, though foot traffic barriers are used during peak times to manage crowds.
