Bab Malik al-Fahad, or the Gate of King Fahad, is the main northern entrance to the Prophet’s Mosque, named after King Fahd bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, who ruled Saudi Arabia from 1982 to 2005. It is the largest gate of Masjid an-Nabawi, featuring two minarets, seven doors, and five domes. The minarets flanking the gate are among the six tallest added during the mosque’s second expansion.
