IslamicLandmarks.com is a website resource dedicated to bringing together places of historical Islamic interest from around the world.
It was founded upon the realisation that the Ummah is largely unaware of many of our historical places. There is information out there in the form of books and websites, but these generally concentrate on very specific parts of the world.
This site is intended to bring together photographs and facts of these ‘landmarks’ in one location. This will give Muslims (and non-Muslims) a much needed source of reference to help revive interest in our history and the importance of past personalities and places.
The entries shown on this site is by no means comprehensive. Insha’Allah, we hope to build upon the content over time by adding more content and functionality. If you would like to contribute with the development by writing articles or providing photos/videos please get in touch. If you’ve benefitted from the website, please consider making a donation so we can continue to maintain and develop it further.
Please note that IslamicLandmarks.com is a product Pilgrim. Pilgrim’s mission is to help every Muslim respond to the call of Prophet Ibrahim, peace and blessings be upon him. The site represents the views from the Sunni (Ahlus Sunnah wa’l-Jamaah) branch of Islam.
The photos used on the site remain the copyright of the original owners and permission must be sought from them prior to using them for any means. The content has been researched through various books/talks/sites and references have been provided. Videos have been sourced from YouTube. You may use content from the site as long as it is clearly referenced back to the individual pages on the IslamicLandmarks.com website.
I finally would like to thank all those individuals who made this site possible, namely Abu Huzaifa [Tadkeshwari] and ask Allah (ﷻ) to make it a success and a source of inspiration (Ameen).
