This cemetery in Jeddah is believed to house the grave of Hawa (عليها السلام). She is also known as Eve, the first woman created and the wife of Adam (عليه السلام). The name Jeddah means the “Ancestor of Women”.

  • This elongated tomb, said to house her body, used to exist in the cemetery. The tomb was levelled in 1928 and concreted over in 1975.
