Bab Bilal, named after Bilal ibn Rabah al-Habashi, the first Muazzin of Islam, is located on the southern flank of the mosque’s latest expansion by King Fahad. Initially constructed during the Second Saudi Expansion as a smaller gate with two doors and single arches, it has since been expanded to include four doors or portals.
