Bab Umar ibn al-Khattab, named after Umar ibn al-Khattab (RA), is located on the northern wall near the northwestern corner of the main complex. It also provides access to the mosque’s library. The original Bab Umar, established during the first Saudi Expansion, was positioned on the northwestern corner of the Malik Abdulaziz expansion. After the Malik Fahad expansion, a new gate in the northwestern corner was also named Bab Umar.
